It’s March! That means it’s time for another look at our feast table and a list of ideas and resources for celebrating liturgically in the month of March. Here is our March Feast Table.
I would note, this year (2016), the feast table will be decked out in purple the majority of March because of Lent. Ordinary time will find green on our table and Easter season it will be covered in a gold or white runner.
We haven’t read too many March themed Catholic books in this family, I’d love to know your favorite ones. It always helps me when I make my Christmas purchases!

What we are planning in our home this March:
Liturgy Teas
We’ll be continuing with our Lent plans. This month, I’m going to work on adding a “tea time” about once a week. I’m hoping this will be a time where we can celebrate with liturgically appropriate fodder as well as enjoy the more beautiful things in life: art, poetry, and classical music. It is always on my mothering wishlist and is one of those times that just gets pushed aside. Do you know how that is?
A Novena and and Altar
I’d also like to try a novena to St. Joseph with Husband as my intention. If I get super ambitious we’ll make a St. Joseph altar. These are two new things for me!
