Our family’s plans for May
We will FINALLY be starting our very own Mary garden. This has been in my mind for the last few years, and I. WILL. MAKE. IT. HAPPEN. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect statue of the Madonna.
Right now, I’m deciding between this 14 inch less expensive ($28) statue:
and this larger (34 inch) and more expensive ($56) option:
I’m inclined to purchase the cheaper one, but I know Mary will be hidden by foliage much of the summer if she is only 14 inches. I know Aunt Leila would encourage me not to be stingy when it comes to purchasing religious decor.
Once we get Mary in place, we’ll be doing a little crowning ceremony!
