Description
Maybe you’ve been giving your kids catechism lesson after catechism lesson and you want to take their religious education to the next level. Or maybe you want to simply show your kids how all those catechism lessons really do have value and that they can be applied to real life conversations with our family and friends. Or maybe you are looking for a grab-n-go course for your Catholic co-op this year. Introduction to Catholic Apologetics for Kids may be just what you are looking for!
I created this 6 session course for our Catholic co-op to use in highlighting “truth” in our year’s theme of “Truth, beauty, and goodness.” After finding no Catholic apologetic courses for kids were even available, I ended up crafted and successfully implementing Introduction to Catholic Apologetics for Kids.
Introduction to Catholic Apologetics for Kids will help your children defend their Catholic faith against other non-Catholic Christians as they learn:
- Beginner apologetics
- How to view and best interact with our Protestant brothers and sisters
- How to defend the Catholic faith with charity and gentleness
- Simple responses to challenges of faith
- Scripture memory work
- Expand upon and apply the basic Catholic theology learned in the home
The course consists of 6 sessions that take 45 – 60 minutes to teach (each session could be expanded upon if more time is available).
The 6 session topics include:
- Session 1 – Introduction to Apologetics and Bible and Tradition
- Session 2 – Faith and Works
- Session 3 – The Papacy
- Session 4 – Communion of Saints
- Session 5 – The Blessed Virgin Mary
- Session 6 – Wrap-up and Review Session

Samantha Smith –
Hello. I was saddened to hear of your little boy. I have epilepsy. It took me many years to say the name of the disability. I know the fear and the shame I felt having this disability. Your little boy is a gift from God. Never forget that your son is precious in God’s sight. I pray for your son and for your family.
Blessings
